Yaku Kin Ro of Shintomi-cho (1878/April) from the series of Comparisons of Specialties of Restaurants in the Imperial City ("Koto Kaiseki Beppin Kurabe").

A rare and authentic Japanese woodblock print by Yoshitoshi Tsukioka (1839-1892).

Yoshitoshi Tsukioka is one of the leading and worldly known print makers of Meiji-era.

The publisher for this print is Tetsujiro Kobayashi and it was printed in 1878. The colors remain very strong, and it is printed on fine Washi rice paper. The approximate size is 9.4 x 14 inches (24 x 35.5cm).

This print is an original print, and it is not a later issue or vintage reproduction or "art print".

Despite its age, it is in a good condition with just a few minor stains, foxing, fading and some agings are seen as well as some of the margins are worn/folded. The back is worn out and has few places being thinner. Please expect some wear and creases. For its conditions, please enlarge the listed pictures and carefully examine the piece
